Opening the Ancient World

Theme: “Discovery, Science, and Technology in the Ancient World - Traditions and Innovations”

Sunday July 23rd and Monday July 24th, 2023

Save Ancient Studies Alliance (SASA) announces our third annual free public virtual conference. 

We invite you to join us and our presenters during this two-day conference to consider traditions and innovations in discovery, science, and technology throughout the Ancient WorldJoin us and our presenters for this two-day conference! Presentation topics include:

Traditions

  • Connections between the Divine and Science and Technology
  • Uses of fauna and flora
  • Transmission of Scientific Knowledge over Time

Innovations

  • Paradigm shifts
  • Causes and impacts of innovation

Additionally, there are two special sessions addressing “Self-Publishing and Public Outreach” and “Access and Affordability.” These sessions require a separate registration to join the discussion.
