About the Event
Previous participation and previous knowledge not required.
We will explore Viking society and topics that are recurrent in the eddas and the sagas to understand the development of this society covering topics from mythology, gender identities and epic heroism. Through these sessions we will redeem the true image of the Vikings away from their reputation of pillagers and raiders and understand how these ideas have shaped modern day medievalism.
