Asiatic Society for Social Science (ASSSR) is a research body amended as Body of Individuals under the Memorandum of Association and registered with Niti Aayog ID DL/2021/0287154 Government of India, India. The Body aims to promote Social Science research by coordinating and serving as a forum for the exchange of views through various events such as Annual Sessions, Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, Courses and Symposia. It also strives to preserve historical monuments and archaeological sources. The Body recognizes and honors social scientists who have made substantial contributions in the field. Additionally, it aims to establish a publication division (Journal of Asiatic Society for Social Science Research) and a non-formal research institute that provides teaching and research methods in non-priority areas of social sciences on a non-profit basis.
