About the Event
In this master class we venture in an artistic period of history often forgotten: everything that happened from the fall of Rome to the 11th century. The art styles before Romanesque all across Europe show vibrant Germanic societies rich in paintings, architecture and decorations. But also showcase how influenced Europe was by Byzantium and Middle Eastern culture. Art can replace text for societies of which writing is not abundant. Thus, in this master class we learn new skills and international languages to unveil the so-called - unfairly - Dark Ages.
