Ancient North Carolinians: A Virtual Museum of North Carolina Archaeology

Description

A virtual museum run by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill which focuses on the archaeological history of the Carolinas, containing information about ancient times through the US Civil War period. Artifacts can be viewed and interacted with as 3D models. It has an informational video gallery and exhibits that focus on specific topics, such as shipwrecks, as well as educational resources for K-12 teachers.
