Halloween Bash Master Class- Beasts of the North: Monsters, Magic, and the Supernatural in Viking Mythology

This one‑hour Master Class explores the eerie, magical, and monstrous beings that populate Viking myth and saga literature — from shape‑shifting warriors and undead draugr to world‑serpents, witches, and fate‑weaving spirits. Drawing on archaeological evidence, medieval texts, and folklore, the session reveals how these beings expressed cultural fears, moral lessons, and cosmological ideas in the Viking world. Participants will also take part in an interactive activity inspired by saga storytelling and mythic creature design.
