About the Event

SASA Live Master Class: 'Runic Magic Part III' led by Dr. Irina-Maria Manea

May whoever damages this stone become a warlock! – is not something very welcoming to find written on a monument, but it was definitely considered very effective against thieves. In the third instalment of the series on runic magic we’ll have a look at runic curses, the craft behind their inscriptions, and how malevolent magic or funerary charms have been woven into the fabric of myth and history. Enter a world where symbols speak, and their meanings have the power to change everything—if you dare to harness them. And if you are a revenant, you’d better not wander off.
